Well last Friday we had our very first Mystery Reader!! It was Josiah's birthday and he was really surprised to find out that his godmother Aunt Debbie was our mystery reader that day!
She read a Little Critters Halloween book to the class and brought car shaped pretzels for the class to snack on after we sang Happy Birthday to Josiah!
Earlier in the week, we worked on some really cute Silly Spider crafts. Rhyan's mommy and little brother came in to help with our crafts :)
The centers Mrs. Everwine and I created for the week all followed a Halloween theme.
We had a "Monster Match" game for them to play on the pocket chart.
We had sparkly, spookey colored pom-poms
that the kids had to count as they picked them up with tweezers.
I brought pumpkin seeds in for the kids to taste.
We tasted some and used the rest to glue onto our pumpkins to make the letter P.
Andrew's mommy came in to help with that one!
My awesome little kinders have been receiving so many compliments from other teachers
on their excellent behavior, that we earned all of our brownie points!
For a reward we watched "Spookely the Square Pumpkin".
Chase brought it in for us to watch. Thanks, Chaser! :)
